Excellence Riviera Cancun is an adults-only, all-suite resort on the Puerto Morelos coast. Its emphasis on suite choice, dining and slower pool days makes it particularly appealing for couples. The Excellence Club is an optional upgrade, so compare standard and club rates rather than assuming all guests receive the same spaces and services.

Couples celebrating an occasion or wanting an adult-only beach week are a natural fit. Families with children should choose a different property.
What to know before booking
The operator lists a range of suites, including swim-up and rooftop terrace layouts. A specific pool view, plunge option or club benefit must appear in the booked category.
Location and transportation
Puerto Morelos coast. Confirm the exact address and any transport included in your selected rate; journey times from Cancun International Airport vary with traffic and the final route. Compare other properties in our puerto morelos resort guide and review our Cancun airport transportation guide before arranging arrival.
Beach and pools
The resort has coastal beach access and multiple pools. Sea conditions and sargassum vary seasonally; choose a room and pool area that would still suit the trip on a difficult beach day.
