Puerto Aventuras Yachting is a private charter operator based at Marina Bay in Puerto Aventuras, a gated marina community on the Riviera Maya coast. Its experiences are built around small-group time on the Caribbean rather than a shared sightseeing cruise, with sail-and-snorkel outings, celebration trips, sunset sailing and dining on the water.

Private yacht experiences

The operator presents four main styles of outing. They are starting points rather than fixed packages, and the team tailors vessel and itinerary to the group.

A snorkeling group may care most about water conditions and equipment, while a family celebration may prioritize shade, seating and easy boarding. Sharing your group’s ages, swimming confidence and priorities helps the team suggest the right setup.

Fleet and onboard setting

The official site identifies three vessels: Bang Bang Lulu, Blue Iris and Chapter Two. Passenger limits and specifications differ by boat, so ask which one is assigned to your date and its comfortable capacity for your type of outing. A written list of inclusions should cover crew, food and drinks, snorkel gear, towels, music, fuel, marina or dock charges, gratuities and transport, plus whether outside food, decorations or a cake are allowed.

Weather and safety at sea

Wind, swell and port-authority decisions can change routes, delay departures or cancel a trip, so treat any specific stop as a plan rather than a guarantee. Use reef-safe sun protection, avoid touching coral or wildlife and follow the crew’s instructions while snorkeling. Tell the operator in advance about mobility needs, allergies, dietary requirements, pregnancy or medical conditions that could affect boarding or time at sea.

Who may enjoy this charter

A private charter suits families, couples and friend groups who want control over the atmosphere and pace, including proposals, birthdays or relaxed gatherings. It is less suitable for travelers looking for a fixed public-tour timetable or guaranteed wildlife encounters.

Getting there

Puerto Aventuras lies between Playa del Carmen and Tulum. The marina has several docks and operators, and drivers may need the reservation name to enter the gated community, so request precise gate instructions, the dock or meeting point and the arrival time. Allow for road traffic and access procedures, and prearrange the return if the charter ends after sunset.

Before you book

Charter rates, vessel availability, routes and inclusions change with the season. Before paying, confirm the date, the assigned boat, an itemized total price, and the weather, rescheduling and cancellation terms in writing.
