Things to do and see in the Cancun area

Our local representatives in the Cancun area are Royale Tours.  They supply roundtrip transfer service from and to the airport.  If you purchase roundtrip prepaid transfers, a Royale Tours representative will be waiting outside the arrivals terminal at the Cancun Airport, holding a sign displaying your name.  Please have your arrival and departure transfer vouchers ready as the Royale Tours representative will ask you for them, and in exchange give you your departure boarding pass and a welcome booklet which has general information on the local area.  This booklet will also have the name of the Royale Tours representative who will be in your hotel daily, and the hours that he or she will be there.  We recommend that you see your Royale Tours representative as soon as possible once you have arrived and checked in, so that he or she can check your departure information and also help you arrange any extracurricular activities and tours that you want to participate in while on your vacation.

Take the "Reef Express" boat ride through the lagoon and mangrove jungle to reach the most beautiful underwater National Park, a natural reserve that shelters more than 300 different species of colorful tropical fish.  Explore the reef and join an interesting guided tour.

Beach activities: volleyball, soccer, basketball, water volleyball, and more fun and games on the beach.

Visit to the Turtle Farm (1.20 USD per person as a donation)  For this tour you walk on the beautiful white sand beach for about 200 meters to arrive at the Turtle Farm.

Also available on the beach:
Water slide, palapas, mini Mexican shops, lockers, lounge chairs, rest rooms, and a nurses office.

Shopping tour to the downtown area of Isla Mujeres for about an hour and a half.

Rancho Loma Bonita has over 150 horses to choose from.  Shuttle from Kukulcan Plaza Cancun to Rancho Loma Bonita departs daily at 8:00 am arriving Cancun 1:00 pm or departing Cancun at 1:30 pm arriving Cancun 6:30 pm.

The Cancun Bull ring offers a fantastic Mexican show, with beautiful national traditions.  A show with dancers and folklore performances from the various Mexican regions and times.

Later on, at a command of the authority that rules the "Plaza" during the show, the doors will open in the ring to let the "Charros" pass, in their well dressed Charro uniform, and their graceful horse.  Then the bull fight will take place, all the while beautiful Mexican women will continue performing with the show, which is called "Escaramuza Charra".

A marine park filled with lots of fun diversions at the southern end of Cancun's Hotel Zone.  Swim with the dolphins at the new dolphin aquarium run by Atlantida; hang out with the manta rays, tropical fish and sharks (they're vegetarians) in a special snorkel area created by Xel-Ha, or try the various water slides, rides and pools at Wet'n Wild.  It's a perfect spot for the whole family.  Entrance is free for kids three and under.  Don't forget to bring your bathing suit.
